Volunteer Description

What is a Team Manager?

As a team manager you will be a vital key in helping your coaches distribute important information to the parents on the team! You will be responsible for providing information to the parents to get them involved in volunteering and help your team earn the points needed for the Perris Cup! Assigning tasks to the parents will be key in helping the team parents work together to have an amazing season as well as lessen the load of responsibilities you have. Please remember to not get discouraged, you are doing this for your child as well as the rest of the team!

Volunteer Points

How can our team earn volunteer points?

Each team must earn the minimum amount of volunteer points (48) to qualify for the Perris Cup. These volunteer points will come from participation points as well as referee points. 20 volunteer points must come from referee assignments and 28 will be from participation points. *Excess Referee points can transfer to the participation points, but excess participation points can not be transferred to referee points. If you have any questions please email [email protected].

Team Banners

Team banners are a source of pride and identity and
each team should proudly display their banner at each
game and at Picture Day. Typically all teams have
team banners in some form or another. There are only
a few rules:
You may put player FIRST names only on the banner.
DO NOT put first AND last names or uniform numbers.
(Note: Just putting uniform numbers with NO NAME is
OK too, but kids like to see their name.) This is done
for the child's safety. If you are using a child's photo
please do not associate their name directly with their
photo or show any photos that associate themselves
with their numbers.
Beside your team name, don't forget your coach,
assistant coach and team parent. You may want to
also include your Team Number.
Team names should be fun and non-political. If there
are any questions regarding appropriateness of your
name, contact your division coordinator.
Banners that do not adhere to the banner
policy may not be included in team photos, the
yearbook, or displayed on the sidelines of
games.
